Two of the most famous Zagreb lakes, Jarun and Bundek – the favourite picnic sites for citizens of Zagreb who regularly go there to enjoy nature and have a barbecue – these days are adorned by some interesting installation ads for Autan, bug repellent.
These installations literally protect visitors from mosquitos thanks to the fine net which metaphorically speaks of the effectiveness of Autan Spray. Of the numerous houses on Bundek and Jarun, Autan’s gazebos became the most desirable when the dusk starts to settle down and mosquitos start to buzz around.
“I am glad that in today’s time, in which market communication mostly uses new media and platforms, there is a place for a good old classical outdoor. I have some nostalgic attitude towards these kinds of ads, since I have grown up with them,” said Igor Mladinović, chief creative director of Imago Ogilvy.
