One topic is a constant in newspaper headlines around the world – Brexit. The British are still deciding how to actually implement the outcome of the 2016 referendum, in which Brits voted to leave the EU. There is prevailing fear and mixed opinions on the event we already know will become a precedent that will trigger an avalanche of reactions.
The second UK ceases to be part of the European family, the whole future of the European Union and the lives of all its inhabitants will change drastically.
The uncertainty, the saturation of the media and the concerned public: the attitudes of the Brits, as well as of all the other Europeans, are shaped by the image of Brexit that is created in the media space. The end of March will mark the end of an entire political era, and the media campaign whose goal is to successfully overcome it will only reach its peak.
How much can communication experts influence the perception of Brexit in the eyes of the citizens of the United Kingdom, but also the whole of the European Union? Can good public relations at such moments help stabilize the situation?
Answers to these and many other questions about the campaign that made the future of the European Union uncertain will be given on the panel discussion with correspondent of Jutarnji list from London, Ana Muhar Blanquart, British Ambassador in Croatia, Andrew Dalgleish and public relations expert and political commentator Krešimir Macan.
