Entries for this year’s Effie Croatia are officially closed, and the organizers announced that this year the number of entries has increased, of which 15 advertisers registered for the first time on Effie.
According to the number of entries per category, the category of beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) leads the pack, followed by telecommunication services and then financial and insurance services.
The novelty of this year’s competition is the scoring of projects that will be based on numerical ratings, but also descriptive project assessments. Project applicants will receive professional and adequate feedback, and descriptive assessments will also be available to them. Organizers thus contribute to the transparency of the competition, and also positively influence the quality of future entries.
The Effie Jury is composed of nineteen members who will soon start the project evaluation and are led by Ivan Šuvar, head of marketing and consumer excellence at Zagrebačka Pivovara, the winner of the last year’s Grand Prix award for the project Scratch for a Reason.
„We are proud of the fact that the number of entries to the Effies is growing every year, which is significant for the Croatian market. I believe that the jury has a serious and challenging job ahead of them, judging by the names of renowned agencies and advertisers who have applied. The indicator that Effie is heading in the right direction is the growing interest of advertisers who see the value of the competition and the affirmation of good campaigns through the Effie award,“ said President of the Jury Ivan Šuvar.
