With tonight’s award New Moment’s tally at the Cannes Lions 2017 came up to five Lions: one Gold (in Design), one Silver (in Promo & Activations) and three Bronze (in Print, PR and Radio).
The “One Book for Peace” project was created in cooperation with the agencies New Moment and Y&R Dubai, and was designed for the Inter-religious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at breaking down religious prejudices and raising awareness about the importance of mutual understanding and interreligious dialogue.
The “One Book for Peace” brings together the teachings of the holy books of the Bible and the Qur’an, showing side by side how similar the religious teachings of these books actually are. By showing the similarities that exist between the two religions, the book aims to revive dialogue between religions, encourage dialogue between ordinary people and contribute to the establishment of peace and harmony in the world.
On this occasion, Ana Šutić, Creative Director of New Moment Belgrade, and Igor Milovanović, Head of Art, stated:
“This project promotes unity among people all over the world in many ways, regardless of religion or background. In a similar way, the work on the creation of this project has united all of us who have participated in it, which is always an extraordinary experience. We believe that the concept if unity can be an eternal inspiration, motivation and a challenge to be addresses through communication over and over again, by creating innovative forms and expressions. The One Book for Peace was our joint move towards unification. We hope that this is just the beginning.”
