For Brankica Raković, it has always been essential to surround herself with women who support one another, who are ready to applaud successes but also offer help in correcting mistakes. Women who are determined to create a better world for the girls who are growing up. According to her, this is precisely what has been achieved with the founding of the Woman.Comm Club. She is confident that by bringing together such professionals, the club will contribute significantly to Bosnia and Herzegovina by introducing new knowledge, projects, ideas, and opportunities for future generations.
“For me, it has always been important to be surrounded by women who support each other, who are ready to applaud, but also to help correct mistakes. Women who are determined to create a better world for the girls who are growing up. Irena has accomplished this with the club, and I am sure that together we will bring a wealth of new knowledge, projects, ideas, and opportunities to Bosnia and Herzegovina for those who are yet to come.
Having spent 20 full years (let’s not calculate my age here) in communications, I have gone from writing a single press release at Aquarius, which shaped and prepared me for everything I am today, to becoming the owner of a small but impactful digital marketing agency, editor of Lola magazine, and the Oslobođena podcast, part of the Oslobođenje group. I am also an activist on social media and a woman who firmly believes that we can achieve much more together.
I have been shaped by women – those who had the patience, strength, and willingness to teach me certain lessons, some of which I learned from them, others on my own, and perhaps some I will never learn because they were not meant for me. That is the kind of person I aspire to be for the new stars of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s communication landscape.”
