Zaba makes 100 most original wishes of its users come true

Zagrebacka Bank, the leading bank in Croatia and one of the leading banks in Central and Eastern Europe, in cooperation with MasterCard launched the campaign I want the real thing. Each new user of Zaba MasterCard can make a wish, and Zaba and MasterCard will make the 100 most original wishes come true. MasterCard is one of the most respected credit cards, accepted at over 36 million locations worldwide, and the largest number of users of MasterCard in Croatia are clients of Zagrebacka Bank. That’s why MasterCard entrusted Zaba with making this year’s campaign, which aims to attract new customers, and the campaign was developed and produced by the full service agency Real Group, known for their work for many famous domestic and overseas clients.

Creative director Maro Pitarević, who also directed television commercials, account director Tino Pattiera and art director Matko Jovičin make Real’s creative team behind the campaign “I want the real thing” for MasterCard of Zagrebačka bank. Their collaborators on the development of the campaign were award-winning Croatian artists and experts in the industry – production studio Kabinet, director of photography Radislav Jovanov Gonzo and photographer Tomislav Može, all under the watchful eye of director of marketing at Zagrebačka banka Vanja Vaniček. Filming took place in Zadar and the spectacular locations of the recognizable lighthouse Veli Rat on Dugi Otok, built in 1849, which with its 42 meters towers as the highest lighthouse in the Adriatic.

“To keep optimism in today’s time can really be a challenge, but working on this campaign for all of us was an experience that energizes and brings positive feelings. This campaign is Zaba’s way to send a message to people that it’s okay to keep a positive attitude and to wish for something. It’s precisely this attitude and joy of life that radiates from the new campaign, conveying in the best possible way the message of the communications platform, I Can with Zaba. I can have the best card, I can win prizes, but I can also wish for something nice to happen to me,” said Maro Pitarević from Real Group.
