The expert juries of BalCannes, the regional creativity competition, have recognized those who stood out with their creative achievements and granted them finalist status!
Who made it to the finals? From March 10, 2025, new finalist projects will be revealed daily – Monday to Friday – on the Media Marketing portal and BalCannes’ Facebook page, continuing until April! Since much of our lives have moved online, this year’s BalCannes project showcase will also take place on social media – leading up to our gathering at the Days of Communication.

• PROJECT NAME: Samsung Raspustolovina

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The younger generation, despite the innovative functionalities such as Circle to Search and various AI options on Samsung devices, is always looking for more. To attract and retain their attention, we turned to the format and platform they love most and created a YouTube series called Raspustolovina. The series aired during the summer break. Over 5 episodes, we followed 5 characters on a treasure hunt. Viewers actively participated in solving puzzles alongside the characters at the end of each episode, with Samsung devices playing a crucial role in the adventure. We integrated the world of screens into free play, engaging the audience and strengthening their connection with the Samsung brand.

• PROJECT NAME: Sav od igre 2

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The “Sav od igre” campaign took Munch to the next level, proving that sequels can be even better than the original. By listening to the real experts – children – we enhanced the product based on feedback from Robomunchies players. Tutorials are now easier to follow, assembly time is halved, and personalization has been made simpler. For the New Year, we took figurines collected from children across Serbia, transformed them into stuffed toys, and donated them to those who need them most, like our friends at the Children’s Village. The campaign not only delivered outstanding business results, with a 35% growth in volume and 39% in value versus last year, but it also highlighted the impact it had on real kids. One young girl even managed to collect all 15 Munch toys in no time! This campaign was a true win for both the brand and the community, proving the power of listening and improving.
• PROJECT NAME: SAVA ŠUMANOVIĆ POSTRADALIM STABLIMA
ENTRANT: Head Made (Novi Sad)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the supercell storm of 2023, the tree-lined avenues and parks of Šid, painted in the masterpieces of Sava Šumanović, one of the most significant Serbian 20thcentury painters, were destroyed. This fallen trees represented not only an ecological issue but also a loss of national cultural heritage. Our idea was to create reproductions of Šumanović’s works by extracting the trees that fell in the storm and symbolically presenting how Sava’s masterpieces would look if he had painted the devastated landscape after the storm. We offered these reproductions at a charity auction to support the revitalization of the affected area. All 18 offered reproductions were sold. The total project costs were also covered by donations, allowing the Sava Šumanović Art Gallery, the client, to allocate all the raised funds to the local government for the planting of new trees.
