It’s not very often that an ad made by a Slovenian agency for the regional departments of multinational companies is so successful that they then decide to use it all over the world. Such a feat has recently been accomplished by agency Pristop. They prepared an ad for Mercedes Benz Slovenia in which they presented the safety system Intelligent Drive. It’s a state-of-the-art security system that analyzes complex situations and with improved sensitivity to the environment better recognizes the dangers in the entire traffic.
The prestigious automotive multinational company was charmed by the idea of creative director Aljoša Bagola: “When I was thinking about how to present this amazing system for safer driving, I thought of the fish who use their perfect sense of mutual distance to swim gathered in a school. That’s why I used them as a synonym for Mercedes’ multi-sensory intelligent system, and compiled the school of fish into a form of a car on the road. Art Director and designer of the ad is Matija Kocbek, head of design and innovation at Pristop, and the illustrator was Mark Jordan.”
The ad, which in April this year received a gold award at SOF in the category of print ads and posters, impressed the bosses at Daimler so much that they’ve presented it to the complete network and ranked it among the ads that can be used in markets across the globe. It is yet another achievement of agency Pristop, which this year for the fourth consecutive time became the Slovenian Agency of the Year and, based on awards at more than forty different competitions, according to the international index of efficiency Effie, ranked among the ten most successful independent agencies in the world.
