Mercator will open its doors again on 26 October, 2017, at 10:00hrs, when visitors will be greeted by a diverse selection of products, top quality and family atmosphere. Customers will experience world trends and the true value they get for money, along with innovations and actions that will surely attract attention. Certainly worth mentioning is the unavoidable Pika card and its loyalty program.
In the 68-years-long tradition of Mercator, there has always been a vision of creating a place where all needs are met with top-class service. In 2017, this company returns to recreate this experience and make customers feel unique.
An emotional advertising campaign was created amid the return of Mercator to the Bosnian market. All those who can recall the time when Mercator left this market will remember a number of emotions, including the lady who cried over the phone over the leaving of the company, and thus became a star on Facebook. Because of that, Mercator is not making a bombastic comeback, but a rather emotional one, communicating with grace, elegance and resolve who they were, and what they want to be in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian market. Story of the video spot which carries the campaign inevitably evokes memories of the beginnings of Mercator, in the years that were promising a better and happier time. With it, the customers welcomed their friends, helped their neighbors, and brought joy to their loved ones … How many of them thought: “I love this place!” and were then flooded by emotions. Boys who are already grownups now will enter Mercator and remember: “I once got my first bike here.” If it was the best neighbor before, Mercator is now becoming a member of the family. A famous song “S tobom je prava stvar” (“With you is the right thing”) performed by Zdravko Čolić concludes the ad. And it is the right thing!
The video spot was produced by marketing agency Communis Sarajevo, which collaborated with top professionals on the production of the ad, led by the famous film director Srđan Vuletić.
