Creativity will connect us even more
The 34th SOF brings numerous innovations. In addition to relocating to Magazin Grando and a new date (May 15 and 16, 2025), the competition program will also be improved.
“I would highlight two key innovations that will give the competition additional weight, especially in terms of connecting creativity with the key players of the Slovenian advertising triangle.
The main novelty is the expansion of the competition to three pillars: besides the creative pillar, there will also be the media and business pillars. New sections will be added to the existing ones, including Creative Media Excellence and Creative Business Excellence. In the new sections, some existing groups and categories will be meaningfully transferred, while many new ones will follow global advertising trends.
This upgrade is followed by the second key novelty. Both new sections will have their own juries, so the central Slovenian advertising harvest will be judged by three juries. Each jury will have nine members, chaired by renowned experts from the respective fields. All three juries will be connected, as five members will participate in all juries,” emphasized Matjaž Germ, President of the CPC SOF.
At the 34th SOF, the SOF Competition Academy, consisting of SOZ members, will play an important role in selecting the finalists.
We can also look forward to an exciting Young Creatives competition, as the winners will travel to the Young Cannes Lions competition on the Côte d’Azur in June 2025.
