MediaCom Croatia campaign Pedigree Doogvertising was shortlisted in all five categories at the Festival of Global Media 2021. The level of success is perhaps best evidenced by the fact that Pedigree Doogvertising is one of the two campaigns mentioned in the festival’s official announcement despite fierce competition of 263 shortlists in 31 categories.
The Pedigree Doogvertising project was realized in cooperation with Go2Digital, and due to the innovative use of computer vision and personalization of content, it secured shortlist in the following categories:
- Best use of Digital Media – Technology
- Best use of Real Time Marketing
- Best use of Traditional Media – OOH
- Brand Bravery Award
- The Creative Use of Media Award
The Festival of Media Global is the most prestigious global competition of media agencies held for 15 years. The winners of the FOMG are announced a month before the start of the Cannes Lions Festival. Winning the FOMG award generates significant PR that directs the attention of the Cannes jury, thereby significantly increasing the winners chances of making it to the shortlists and winning. Therefore, it is not difficult to assume that the potential success of MediaCom at FOMG could spill over into success at Cannes.
MediaCom has won the Agency Network of The Year title in three of the last four years, and this year is again the favorite with 43 shortlist entries. More specifically, these are 20 MediaCom works for 17 brands from 12 countries that are shortlisted in 24 categories. With five shortlist entries, MediaCom Croatia found itself side by side with MediaCom UK (8 shortlists), MediaCom USA (7 shortlists) and other major markets. The success of the Croatian MediaCom team is even greater because they share the title of the shortest work in the history of MediaCom together with this year’s global campaign for the launch of the PlayStation 5.
