Twenty years ago she came from Belgrade to Sarajevo to set up a Saatchi & Saatchi agency. Already the first night, she drank water from the drinking fountain in Baščaršija, and already the next morning she called Dragan Sakan and Ivan Stanković and said: “I could live here. I’m staying in Sarajevo”.
This is how the story of Zvezdana Žujo, today CEO of Communis Sarajevo, begins. It seems she has come to Sarajevo for good. It’s a great thing for her, but also for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian advertising industry.
We talked with the favorite face of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian advertising scene about her favorite memories in these 20 years she spent in Sarajevo, building one of the strongest agencies in the market. Those who know her well will not be surprised by her answer.
