Dejan Verčič is the man who founded modern PR in Slovenia. A faculty professor, one of the greatest theorists of PR, he is the author of several books in the area of public relations, and is a great name of PR profession even in global proportions.
He created the term “publics relations” in Slovenia, while “public relations” is in official usage everywhere outside Slovenia. No one communicates with just one “public”. Everybody, from a newly born baby, through companies, to the top of the state, everybody has multiple “publics” they communicate with.
We asked prof. Verčič to comment our decision to devote ourselves to video content, and what kind of advantage this content has in comparison to written word and still image.
