It’s no secret that McDonald’s has had some awesome OOH works in its history, and now they have added one more campaign to that great legacy. The fast food giant has been operating in Hungary since 1988, and they are celebrating the 30th anniversary with a simple new campaign from DDB in Budapest.
The campaign rests on just two billboards that illustrate the brand’s two most iconic and recognizable products with some great light show illustrations, placed along the busiest roads near the McDonald’s restaurants.
Illustrations are produced by the Gravy studio, and imitate the long-exposure photography of cars passing buy, forming the visual of burger and chips.
“We celebrate these products during the whole year in Hungary because this is the 30th anniversary of McDonald’s here (the first one opened in Budapest in 1988),” explained Karolina Galácz, DDB Budapest’s creative director.
