At a wonderful socializing in Kraš, on Saturday, 24 of September, company Kraš and agency Drap presented their new project, robot Elibot, which won the hearts of children and their parents. The children controlled Elibot by Leap motion sensors, which translated the movements of their hands into the movements of the robot tens of kilometers away, in the Ekopark in Bratina.
Children readily stepped in to help Elibot which faced a real challenge, and from Kraš they directed its small metal trunk to feed deer and horses. Elibot thus helped the animals to fill their tummies, and helped the little ones to erase the boundaries between the virtual and the real world at least for a moment, and experience first-hand the technology that will certainly be part of their not-so-distant future.
“The use of new technologies such as advanced motion sensors, robotics and live streaming enabled us to bring the Ekopark in Bratina closer and give the children a sense of satisfaction brought by the care for animals and the environment, even at a great distance,” explained Davor Runje, CEO of Drap. “With live video stream they had a feeling as if they were side by side with horses and deer that they were feeding.”
“Sense for innovation and creativity of Kraš in the development of new content has been recognized through a number of successful online campaigns. But of all the wonders, technology was this time in the service of one of the largest: a sincere amazement of a child, and the smiles when a horse or a deer would eat the grass which they brought them,” said Marijana Knežević Tudić, brand manager of Kraš’s Animal kingdom brand, and added that both Kraš and Drap approached the development of the Elibot with special enthusiasm. So they were very happy that the kids immediately accepted Elibot like a friend, with whom they can explore the technology of the future and at the same time learn about the values that never fade: empathy, environmental protection and care about animals.
In addition to pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in marketing waters, projects like Elibot also have an educational character. Their goal is to show the way to a new, more aware generation, that will not take nature for granted, and will now to seek the warm, human side in innovation, technology and adaptation to new times, just as Elibot found a warm heart in his robotic body.
