Kirill Karnovich-Valua, founder and creative director of the Slovenian AI studio Digital Da Vincis, is continuing his work on international expert juries this year. After serving on the jury of the 47th edition of the News & Documentary Emmy Awards in 2026, he has also joined the jury of the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2026.
The platform recognises creative achievements in film, television, digital media and creative storytelling, bringing together representatives from 17 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to presenting award-winning work, the Asian Academy Creative Awards encourages knowledge exchange, the development of collaboration and connections between creatives from different parts of the region. The organisation defines its mission as presenting Asia-Pacific voices on the global stage and recognising stories that shape culture, inspire audiences and determine the future of creative excellence.
Karnovich-Valua is also a member of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the organisation behind The Webby Awards.
His studio, Digital Da Vincis, was founded in Ljubljana in 2024 and operates at the intersection of filmmaking, advertising, design and generative technologies. The studio won two gold awards at the Slovenian Advertising Festival SOF and was ranked among the ten highest-rated agencies at this year’s edition of the festival.
Digital Da Vincis is also a multiple nominee and award winner at The Webby Awards, which are often referred to as the digital Oscars.
The winners of the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2026 will be presented in December at the awards ceremony held at Singapore’s historic Capitol Theatre.
