On this occasion, she stated: “I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust placed in me by the profession and for this exceptional award. Receiving recognition in the digital domain means a lot to me because digital brings something that particularly fascinates me – a mirror that users quickly and clearly hold up for us. Whether it’s creative campaigns or the user experience of applications, that is a key advantage of our work, and it’s something I do not fear but rather value and gladly embrace as a challenge.
As a creative person who often works in a digital environment, I want digital to not remain something added at the end of idea development when time or resources run out. Digital solutions must be an equal part of the marketing processes, which should also be reflected in budgets.
Additionally, it’s important that we always think about the user during planning, not just ourselves and potential awards. This is my digital legacy – the legacy of someone who believes that the digital environment is not just the final stop of marketing activities but often the very starting point for innovation.
The Websi award is the result of collaboration with many outstanding professionals who shape Slovenian digital marketing through their work. I hope you recognize yourselves in this, and great thanks go to you as well. This is a community that readily helps and advises. In a way, it reminds me of my student days when we selflessly shared notes and exam experiences.
I believe that the field of digital marketing in our country is on the verge of mature adolescence – it is now up to us to guide it into a responsible and grown-up entity.”
