John Bradford is the first confirmed lecturer of Spark.Me 2016 Conference, which will be held on 28 and 29 of May 2016, at the hotel Mediteran in Bečići, Montenegro, said the organizers from the company doMEn Ltd., registration agent for national .ME domain.
Bradford is one of the key actors in building a start-up community in Europe and co-founder of F6S – start-up community which brings together more than a million start-ups and their founders, and the Tech.eu, technology blog which brings news and stories of the European technology industry. He has been engaged as a mentor to many start-up accelerator programs worldwide, from Montreal to Moscow. Bradford has spent three years as CEO of Techstars in London, one of the best start-up accelerators in the world. Organizers of the Spark.Me announce they will gradually disclose other big names of international speakers who will share their knowledge and experience, and talk about the way they found their spark of inspiration and achieved success.
The fourth Spark.Me Conference is one of the largest and most inspiring in South East Europe. It is dedicated to business, innovation and marketing. It offers many opportunities for business and brings together in one place leaders from the business world, the world of technology, innovation and marketing, start-ups and people hungry for knowledge.
“What participants and the people who follow developments in Spark.Me see, in principle, are only those two days of conference. The basis of those two days are the remaining 363 days of the year, in which the conference is prepared and in which we make our best efforts to provide world-renowned speakers, many of whom are professional speakers who live on public appearances. There are more than a hundred names on the list of speakers that we follow, contact and strive to position ourselves on their map in every possible way – including learning some little things about them. What’s their favourite movie, song, book, food? The only way in which a small conference such as Spark.Me can compete with global giants such as SXSW, Web Summit, Le Web or Nordic Business Forum is to offer lecturers and participants a personalized experience, and in that sense every detail could be crucial. Since our motto is ‘never, ever give up’, with some of the speakers we communicate for years until we manage to make them part of Spark.Me teaching team,” said Vladimir Vulić, program director of the conference, who promised another spectacular event this year which will feature some of the most famous and most interesting world speakers.
Spark.Me is an interactive conference designed to encourage the creativity of the participants, to enable them to improve their knowledge thanks to the internationally recognized speakers, to help them improve their business, or to design and start new business ventures of their own.
Announcing Spark.Me 2016, Nataša Đukanović, marketing director at the company doMEn, highlighted: “The company doMEn as part of its program of corporate social responsibility aims to support the marketing and the internet community in the region, and to encourage the development of the Montenegrin business and start-up scene. Spark.Me mission is to improve the quality of life of people regionally, by raising awareness of modern business models and opportunities offered by the internet, through education, competition and friendship.”
After successfully organizing conferences of this type for three consecutive years, with over 1,300 participants and 50 internationally recognized speakers, the company doMEn invites the public and the media to join the regional business elite on 28 and 29 May 2016 in Bečići. Among those who, in previous years, participated at Spark.Me conference are world renowned speakers such as Pankaj Ghemawat (one of the world’s foremost authorities in the field of global strategy and TED speaker), Christopher Fabian (co-founder of the Department of Innovation within UNICEF and one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 according to Time magazine), Scott Berkun (author of several global business bestsellers who has held over 500 lectures worldwide), Alf Rehn (one of the best professors of management, entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe), David Armano (director of global strategy at Edelman, the largest independent PR agency in the world) and Peter Sunde (co-founder of The Pirate Bay, a popular website that indexes BitTorrent files)
Although the conference is scheduled for the very end of May 2016, the registration fee can be purchased now at the official website of the conference www.spark.me. The experience of the past three years has shown that there is huge interest for the conference and that everyone wants to secure their place as soon as possible. Student tickets, as an incentive for young people who want to learn, are intended for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, who are under 27 years, as well as all those who will be graduating in the course of 2016.
