John Oliver, host of HBO’s show “Last Week Tonight“, this weekend in a piece titled “Trump vs. Truth” announced a really unique campaign, designed to inform and educate a single person, Donald Trump, the President of the US.
In the piece we really encourage you to watch below, John Oliver slams Trump on the misinformation coming from the president and his staff, openly calling Trump a “pathological liar”.
Oliver also notes the number of instances where Trump admitted he gets most of his information from cable TV, which is why Oliver decided to make a series of ads, cable-TV-style, narrated by an older white man in a cowboy hat who shares some info on the important questions such as the US nuclear arsenal, human rights and even female sexuality.
For the ads – which you can find at the end of the sketch below if you don’t feel like watching the whole thing – Oliver and the “Last Week Tonight” show had bought timeslots to be aired on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC in Washington.
