Jamnica is marking its 190th anniversary with a special ad in which the brand wants to point to its long tradition and presence in all important moments of Croatian and world history, and to present a special edition of bottles with historical labels.
The new TV spot was made by the ZOO agency, the new creative partner of Jamnica. It is a playful video collage that takes us through some of the most recognizable and most memorable moments of Croatian history. Inauguration of Ban Jelačić, the moment when Nikola Tesla discovered the alternating current, nostalgic and recognizable moments of the 70s when people went abroad for shopping, or moments from the 80s when people used to stop in Slunj to buy bananas, powerful images of the celebration of independence in 1991, victories at the 1998 World Cup and the legendary 2006 race of the Snow Queen Janica Kostelić, which she finished without one of her poles… All of these and many other moments are embedded into Croatian history and collective memory. Interestingly, in all these important moments since 1828, one of the companions was Jamnica.
In order to refresh the memory of the great moments of the Croatian and Jamnica’s history, and in order to refresh the people, Jamnica, on the occasion of its 190th birthday, also released a limited series of bottles with historical labels. These are carefully reconstructed replicas of labels from the 1880-1986 period, which can be found in stores throughout Croatia. With the new celebratory TV ad, full of emotional moments, Jamnica is on the right track to greet the next 190 birthdays, even younger than ever.
