SEMPL, the regional conference on trends in marketing, media and communications, this year is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. It will be held on 29 and 30 November 2018 in Portoroz’s Grand Hotel Bernardin. Organizers expect more than 1,200 media-communication professionals from more than ten European countries.
In addition to the charismatic Belgian visionary Peter Hinssen, who is coming to the region for the first time, attendants will have the chance to listen to Lon Safko, serial innovator and inventor, author of bestsellers, speaker, trainer and advisor, and according to Steve Jobs, inventor of “the first computer that can save human lives”. Among other things, Safko is the author of the books The Social Media Bible, The Fusion Marketing Bible, a concept that is currently in the patenting process, and The Innovative Thinking Bible, Cracking The Creativity Code. He was the first in the world to develop voice recognition and voice synthesis programs and home automation systems for people with physical disabilities. At the conference he will present the concept of so-called Fusion Marketing, which combines traditional and digital tools, thus enabling a completely new way of doing marketing.
