How can complex technological functionalities be translated into value that users understand and that convinces them to choose a particular product? This is one of the questions that will be addressed at the BipTalks Product Marketing Meetup, an event organized by Infobip on November 5, from 6 PM to 9 PM, at its Alpha Centauri campus in Zagreb.
The meetup is intended for experienced marketing professionals, particularly those working in IT and technology companies, as well as professionals involved in strategic product positioning, market development and go-to-market strategies. The focus will be on the role of Product Marketing in connecting technological capabilities with customer needs and business objectives.
Examples such as banking notifications on mobile phones, order confirmations via WhatsApp or interactions with AI assistants illustrate how deeply technological solutions are embedded in everyday communication. However, their adoption also depends on how successfully companies communicate their value to the market. This aspect of business will be at the center of the meetup program.
The main presentation, titled Two Words That Stopped My Pitch: “So What?”, will explore how technical product features can be translated into tangible benefits for users. The panel discussion Product Marketing: Myths, Reality and Everything in Between will bring together experts from Infobip who will discuss the responsibilities, challenges and collaboration between product development, sales and marketing in a global technology company.
The event also has a career development dimension. Infobip, which operates through more than 75 offices across six continents, is currently hiring for several positions within its Product Marketing team. Meetup participants will have an opportunity to learn more about working on global technology products, including solutions based on artificial intelligence.
Participation is free, with a limited number of places available. The meetup will take place at the Alpha Centauri campus, located at Utinjska 29 in Zagreb. Registration and the detailed program are available on the official event website.
