Ogilvy & Mather is one of the largest and the most influential advertising networks globally (part of the WPP group). For the last four years, at the most prestigious international advertising festival in Cannes, Ogilvy & Mather was named the best agency network in the world. Moreover, in 2012, 2013 and 2016 it was named the world’s most effective agency according to the global EFFIE Index. Although a worldwide network, present on various markets across the globe with over 25.000 employees in more than 500 offices in 126 countries, for a long time Ogilvy & Mather did not have a partner or an office in Croatia. After conducting a detailed market analysis, they decided to partner up with one of Croatia’s most awarded and most notable agencies – IMAGO Advertising Agency from Zagreb.
With its integrated approach to marketing services and a vision of ‘creativity with sense’, IMAGO has been among the creators of the most effective and the most memorable campaigns in Croatia in the past 24 years. IMAGO was awarded two ‘Agency of the Year’ titles at the “Days of Communication”, 19 EFFIE awards for the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and, according to the EFFIE Global Index 2016, it is ranked among TOP 10 Most Effective Independent Agencies in the world. That comes along with many awards on numerous international and national advertising festivals for projects developed with diverse local, regional and international clients – from the USA, across the EU to the UAE. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that Ogilvy & Mather chose IMAGO as their partner in Croatia, who will from now on be known under the brand IMAGO Ogilvy & Mather. Furthermore, this is just the first step of cooperation between the two sides, because IMAGO and Ogilvy & Mather plan to expand their regional operations by opening a new office in Slovenia soon.
