I&F McCann Corner, in cooperation with the American Corner Belgrade and with the support of the association „Roditelj“, will organize a lecture on Single parents – How to get a job?, in the Belgrade Youth Centre on Wednesday, 27 July.
Thanks to the internet and other platforms, today we have access to numerous info related to writing resumes and tips for preparing for job interviews. But it is particularly important to identify which of these rules and tips really help, and to adjust your preparation to the type of company or organization where you want to work.
Each segment of your appearance in front of a potential employer deserves special attention and the key is to know how to take advantage of the chance that is presented to you. With thorough preparation, you can be in a position to convince the employer that you are the right choice for them, despite the objective disadvantages such as, for example, a lack of experience. In contrast, insufficient understanding of the recruitment process and the failure to introduce yourself properly, can lead you to missing out on the opportunity to land your dream job.
