The focus of the first workshop is to raise the creative ambitions of participants. It is a highly interactive, practical workshop where participants go through creative techniques that will help them turn ordinary, very simple ideas into not so ordinary, brilliant ideas. By encouraging creative ambitions of participants, Nick Eagleton will discover how to turn a negative into a positive, how to think differently and how to cheat the conventions.
According to previous participants, this practical workshop moves at a fast pace; it’s highly interactive, there are no breaks and it requires your energy and enthusiasm in order to get the absolute maximum out of it.
At this training of creative ideas, Eagleton organizes the day as a creative process in a microcosm, which means that the participants are working on a brief in real time, going through the creative process from start to finish. They go through techniques that help turn ordinary, very simple ideas in the not so ordinary, brilliant ideas … the good ideas that must be devised quickly and under pressure, or other people’s ideas that should be brushed up in order to become effective. In short, this workshop is the right place for all those looking for professional workshops that will make their ideas truly creative.
Nick Eagleton is the creative director at The Partners agency and is a winner of many D&AD pencils. He is the proud owner of a diploma for a completely wrong thing – sculpture, which actually served him well as he has worked for a number of design companies in his career, and has lectured in design studies. A job that he himself singles out was his first in life, when he worked as an exhibition guide and demonstrator of explosive chemistry … then he was known as the Bubble Man. If you ask him, by far the best title he ever had.
