Overall success of a company depends on the way employees solve problems and how creative they will be in generating new ideas. This is exactly what they mean in the World Economic Forum when they define that in the coming years the most sought business skills will be complex problem solving, critical thinking and creativity. A logical mind is no longer sufficient. Mediocrity in today’s market cannot bring prosperity. Success necessitates imagination!
Ideas have become the currency of the new economy. They are the ones that bring competitive advantage, and therefore capital. However, our current way of thinking associated with the left side of the brain cannot generate anything so innovative and original, so we only run in circles with our daily routines and familiar answers.
Step out of the box and expand your horizons. It’s time to add a new creative component to logic, in order to solve complex problems and create new, interesting ideas that will make a difference. Here creativity is an economic component without which companies will slowly but surely stay in the past. Science has already proven it.
Just look at the companies from the Silicon Valley. They have learned what they need to do to be successful and they do everything to encourage their employees to be more creative and productive.
A creative workshop was held in Zagreb, led by Danijela Gašparo, a painter (six solo exhibitions in Zagreb and Brussels) and writer (book Plavuša u borbi s nosorogom – Blonde in a Fight with a Rhino, and a book in preparation Kreativno razmišljanje čini razliku – Creative Thinking Makes a Difference).
Attendees at the workshop have learned:
Why we need a creative way of thinking in all segments of work?
What it means to be creative, and are we all creative?
How to awaken creativity within you and think outside the box?
Which tools do we have and how to use them to facilitate creative thinking?
What are the traits of creatives?
What is our greatest enemy in productivity and where do we waste energy?
How to change the perception and overcome fears?
How to encourage and motivate yourself?
Danijela Gašparo has spent a long time working as a sales, marketing and corporate communications manager, and these experiences have greatly helped her in her career. In the study of ancient knowledge and wisdom, she has toured Thailand, Burma, Mexico, India, Israel …
Today she focuses on education and PR. She is the owner of the portal Lifex.hr, she’s a columnist and editor of an online magazine. She has merged all her professional, scientific and life skills and experience into a very interesting story – into a wisdom that pervades all segments of our life and reveals how we can be happy, motivated and inspired.
