Since its founding, the mission of IAB Croatia, the collective representative of the digital marketing industry in Croatia, has been to connect market leaders to jointly build an advanced, professional, and competitive digital market with the highest standards.
“Today, that mission gains new momentum with the IAB Discovery project – an educational series that marks an important step towards the systematic development of digital in Croatia. A new theme each month, concrete solutions and insights each month, a step forward in market development each month,” said Dunja Ivana Ballon, director of IAB Croatia, the local branch of the largest global organization focused on digital market development, as she introduced the new initiative.
This project is created by local digital communication experts from IAB Croatia, gathered in specialized working groups. Through a series of interactive activities, materials, publications, interesting information, gatherings, and education over the year and various themed months, they will share their knowledge with the public and all interested parties.
“In the coming months, we will tackle topics like attention in the online world, awards and best achievements in digital, online privacy, self-regulation and influencer marketing, the national Online AdEx with an overview of investments in digital channels, artificial intelligence, DOOH advertising standards, and others – topics that our working groups have been dedicated to for a long time, as well as some new ones in preparation, such as Web3 and fintech or the research hub,” announced Mario Frančešević, member of the IAB Croatia Board. IAB Discovery will thus enable the community to get involved and follow the work of these expert groups, while market participants can stay updated on the latest trends and research shaping their digital business. In this way, education and development through IAB Discovery are accessible to everyone – from seasoned professionals to those just beginning their careers in the digital world.
The Month of Attention
The first edition of IAB Discovery, “The Month of Attention,” will focus on the most valuable resource in digital marketing – user attention. IAB Croatia’s working group on attention in digital marketing will present a series of activities and materials to provide the market with key insights and data on how to capture and retain attention in today’s complex digital landscape.
