The Serbian Chapter of the International Advertising Association has published the “Media Pitch Guide”, which aims to further assist advertisers and media agencies in planning, organizing, conducting, and participating in media pitches.
This supplement for media pitches adds to the already existing “IAA Pitch Guide”, which is of general character, with the aim of providing more details and guidelines pertaining exclusively to the field of media.
When it comes to its form, it is important to note that the Guide represents a set of recommendations aimed at optimizing the process, ie achieving a relationship that implies mutual trust and fair play.
“One of the basic goals of the IAA, as a professional tripartite trade association, is to encourage the regulation of the industry through the introduction of international standards. By creating a document that relies on world guidelines and best practices, together with members of the Association who have participated in its writing, it seems to me that we have confirmed our role. The Media Pitch Guide is another step by which we present to our members, as well as the industry at large, how a media pitch should be regulated,” said Jelena Ivanović, Executive Director of IAA Serbia.
