Young professionals often learn very quickly how to use tools, follow trends and respond to the day-to-day demands of the job. What is more difficult to acquire is an understanding of how the different parts of the communications industry work together – from idea development and business strategy to media planning, production and analytics.
This is precisely the approach that IAA Serbia has been building for years. The organisation has now opened applications for a new edition of its educational programme, AcademIAA, intended for marketing professionals with up to five years of experience in the industry.
The biggest novelty of the 2026 programme is the introduction of the Production module, further expanding the existing curriculum. Alongside the established areas of Creativity, Business, Media, Digital, and Research and Analytics, participants will now have the opportunity to gain insight into the processes behind the execution of campaigns and production projects.
The programme content will be led by experts from different segments of the industry. The Media module will be headed by Aleksandar Đorđević from UM / AMA Group, Production by Ana Adžić from Rooster Production, Business by Ivan Minić, Creativity by Milja Šijakinjić from Žiška, Research and Analytics by Stefan Beriša from A1 Serbia, while the Digital module will be led by content creator Strahinja Ćalović.
The lectures will take place from September to December at the Doing training centre in Belgrade, every Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout the three-month programme, participants can expect a combination of theoretical lectures, practical workshops and panel discussions, supported by a mentoring approach that has become one of AcademIAA‘s defining characteristics. It is precisely because of this format that the number of places remains limited to a maximum of 40 participants.
Applications are open until 15 August 2026, while the Early Bird period runs until 26 June and is intended for those who wish to secure their place in advance.
Additional information about the programme, the selection process and the application form is available on the official AcademIAA website.
