COCA-COLA’S HOLIDAY SURPRISE WITH PERSONALIZED BOTTLES
In the pre-holiday season, Coca-Cola is helping real people to give their loved ones a perfect gift. “Share a Coke with the ones you love”, says Coca-Cola in its Christmas campaign, in which they took care of moments of joy for six selected individuals.
The ad, which was done by the advertising agency David, includes six scenes in which individuals surprised their loved ones – among others, a biological father surprised his son, whom he had never seen although he really wanted to; a young couple surprise a soon-to-be-grandma with the news of their pregnancy; a soldier from Afghanistan visits his father; a young guy asks his girlfriend to marry him. In each story, personalized bottles of Coca-Cola have a special role because they serve as a medium for conveying the message. The scenes are very intimate because Coca-Cola wanted to capture real, unscripted moments in the lives of real people. (Adweek)

BURBERRY AND DREAMWORKS ANIMATION TO DO AN INTERACTIVE OOH CAMPAIGN
Burberry has teamed up with DreamWorks Animation to make an interactive campaign on the Curve screen in Piccadilly Circus in London.
Using 3D technology, the campaign will feature a computer-generated version of Burberry’s trademark scarf, that users will be able to personalize and play with. Up to five participants at a time will be able to modify the scarf, put their monogram on it using the smartphone app, and it will then appear on the giant screen. Users will also be able to control the scarf on the big screen using the motions of their device.
They will then have the option to purchase their scarf on Burberry.com or receive directions to the nearest store.
