The HOWtoWOW Academy aced the last school year. How? Well, its students rated it with excellent grades and especially praised the competence, warmness and accessibility of the participants. Valuable, current knowledge will again be shared in the new season, as the school year starts in September, and will include a total of seven workshops. There’s something for everyone, depending on interests and specialization.
The autumn begins with the discovery of hidden creativity codes and the training by Ravid Kuperberg from Mindscapes, and the workshop is perfect for all creatives who are aiming for lions and other praise worthy beasts. A strategic approach to design and creativity will mark the month of November, with the insights shared by Gill Thomas, who equally well speaks both the language of design and the language of strategy. The quality of the workshop is confirmed by the fact that its leader started her career in the prestigious Pentagram, and the award-winning agency The Partners.
In December, the digital crew will learn interesting tricks and techniques that can greatly accelerate the work of a web site through a workshop of award-winning consultant and front-end architect Harry Roberts. Matthias Leendertse and Jon Biggs from MediaMonks will take care of innovations in the digital world. If you have ever wondered whether genuine innovation is a matter of momentary inspiration or a carefully managed process, the answer will be given by these guys from the leading digital agency, and the attendees will find out how to continue raking top results with their campaigns even after initial inspiration and realization.
The next man on the roster held a disruptive business workshop last season, for which there wasn’t a single empty place. This year he returns to show the participants how to hold a great presentation and rule over any stage. Mark Shayler also delivered a lecture at this year’s Days of Communication, and his workshop is intended for everyone who have something to say, and want to say it as top-notch speakers. Paul Arnold will take you to the realms of science through the application of behavioral economics and neuroscience in communication and business. The last workshop in this series will be held by David Meikle in March, which is perfect for all agency directors and managers who want to brush up on their negotiating skills.
Registrations for all workshops are officially open, and a special offer is available for HURA member agencies, clients of HURA members and students. More information on lecturers and workshops is available on the new and redesigned official website of the HOWtoWOW Academy at www.hura.hr/howtowow.
