While many media are putting all their eggs into the native advertising basket, many marketers simply get a headache from it. From working hours that do not cover native advertising planning, to media that imply that native is just another name for the so-called promo texts… Where does native advertising actually stand in 2018 on the Croatian market, and where does it stand in the world? You can find the answer to this question in the lecture by Ivan Brezak Brkan. The lecture will be held at History Caffe Club in Zagreb, on 24 January, 19:00hrs.
Ivan Brezak Brkan is the founder and editor-in-chief of Netokracija, which he founded in 2009. He started his journalistic work in business and technology media such as Bug, Lider and TechCrunch, and as a consultant in the field of digital marketing and social networks he worked for brands such as Microsoft, Kolektiva and Vichy. Forbes dubbed him “an aristocrat of the internet” in their special feature “Generation 2013” which “doesn’t care for state borders and continue to pile successes”. As a lecturer and mentor, Ivan collaborated with conferences and organizations such as Hubraum, Seedcamp, Eleven, Shift Split, How to Web, and he’s also a director of Netokracija’s own conferences RockPaperStartups and OMGcommerce. He is a member of the New Media Commission of the Croatian Olympic Committee.
