Honda Sent Dreams in for Testing

A white substance that is stretched, pushed, tested and shaped became the main character of Your Dreams Engineered, the first campaign Pablo London developed for Honda after winning its European account.

If a dream could be sent in for a technical inspection, it would probably look like Honda’s new campaign.

In the film presented in July, human ideas take the form of an unusual white material, soft enough to bend, unruly enough to resist and promising enough to end up in the hands of engineers. It passes through rollers, tests, measurements and a series of procedures that resemble a playful experiment more than conventional automotive production. What eventually comes out of the machine is not a prototype of a dream, but Honda models.

The new European platform Your Dreams Engineered therefore does not focus solely on cars as finished products. It is interested in what comes before them, the moment when someone’s need, desire or slightly vague idea begins to take concrete shape.

This is also the first work by Pablo London for the brand since the agency won the account in September 2025. Rather than opening the collaboration with a list of technologies, performance features and technical advantages, the agency turned to Honda’s long-standing belief that engineering has little purpose unless it solves something distinctly human.

The campaign was developed for markets across Europe, with the main film supported by OOH and social media content. In those formats, individual models are connected with different plans and situations in drivers’ lives, allowing the story from the unusual laboratory to continue beyond the television spot.

The film was created by Chris Bovill, John Allison, Victoria Daltrey and Will Bingham, and directed by Ryan Chun through Magna Studios. Editing, post-production and sound were handled by Shift, Black Kite Studios and 750mph.

For Honda, the campaign also marked a return to a more emotional form of communication after more than a decade. At a time when innovation is often presented as something cold, fast and almost automatic, the brand chose to remind audiences that behind every useful technology there is usually someone who first wished things could work a little better.
