In the year in which it celebrates its 20th birthday, GRAWE osiguranje d.d. Sarajevo (GRAWE Insurance) rolled out a new campaign, slightly different from usual jubilee ads. Namely, the new campaign of this company is the result of cooperation with the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, whose students were responsible for all the aspects of the campaign.
As part of its social responsibility activities, GRAWE once again gave the opportunity to young people to prove themselves, and according to the statements from the company, students of the ASU justified their trust. The team of the Academy of Performing Arts drafted 14 scenarios for a TV spot, and after this big client selected their favorite, students diligently worked and fully and independently implemented the project.
“GRAWE osiguranje dd Sarajevo, as a socially responsible company in all its segments of business, wants to provide added value to its clients, employees and the wider community in which we operate, and for this reason we have entrusted this task to the students. The resulting TV ad communicates the core values of our company, and what we do every day. All our employees go through the good and bad moments in the lives of our clients together with them. We are happy that the students understood the main message and the mission of GRAWE Insurance, and have successfully created this TV spot. Throughout this cooperation, we were impressed by the creativity and professionalism of the entire Academy, and we are now convinced that the Academy graduates are among the world’s best directors, producers, actors, screenwriters and dramatists,” said the CEO of GRAWE osiguranje dd Sarajevo, Fikret Hodžić at the press conference amid the launch of the campaign.
This project was also of great importance for the students of the Academy, as it provided them with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, but it also to provided them an important reference for their future career, underlined Pjer Žalica, Dean of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. He also humorously sent a reassuring message to the agency world, telling them that this isn’t a step towards making the Academy into their competitor.
The spot was directed by Boriša Ćurić, one of the students of the Academy of Performing Arts, who commented: “This project has allowed students to go through a professional production process of creating an ad for a very serious client.” Ćurić also noted the seriousness of the students in tackling the assignment in front of them, saying that they prepared three months for just 30 seconds.
“With the supervision of our professors, we responded to the courageous decision and the trust of GRAWE insurance with the great desire and effort to do this job to the expected professional standards. Since the very beginning, GRAWE Insurance’s approach was characterized by patience and openness, which we have not misused. This has given us the opportunity to deal with the project in such a way that would ensure the best possible end result. Any cooperation where students can work in full professional conditions, and thus acquire the necessary experience, can only be of benefit to everyone,” Ćurić concluded.
