Golden Drum 2024 Announces Winners

The Golden Drum 2024 festival has come to an end. The highlight of the festival was the awards ceremony, made possible by the long-time partner Mastercard. The Golden Drum juries awarded a total of 62 Bronze, 58 Silver, and 37 Golden Drum awards, as well as 17 Grand Prix awards.

The title of Agency of the Year, in cooperation with A1 Slovenia, was awarded to the agency LePub, Milan, while McCann Worldgroup was named Agency Network of the Year.

The Brand of the Year award was given to Heineken for their exceptional contribution to advertising.

The prestigious title of Creative Director of the Year, supported by Elan, was won by Bartosz Jeglejewski, Creative Director of McCann Poland, for the campaign “Room for Everyone.”

The award for Independent Agency of the Year, sponsored by NLB, went to the agency Bickerstaff.756, Kyiv.

The Production House of the Year was named wearekindofstudio

while MRM Romania was declared Digital Agency of the Year.

The jury at Golden Drum also crowned UM Romania as Media Agency of the Year.

In the competitive section All Juries, the award for Best Local Spirit was given to Fp7 McCann Beirut for the campaign “Selfless Shelves,” created for the brand Arla Foods. The Best Social Good award, in collaboration with Lidl Slovenia, went to Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine for the project “The Minefields Honey Project,” done for Kernel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The “Game Changer” award, supported by Telemach Slovenia, was given to LePub, Milan, for their innovative project “Pub Museums,” designed for Heineken.

The award for Adriatic Region Agency of the Year, presented in cooperation with Triglav Insurance, was given to McCann Skopje for their work “Start-up Package.”

At the awards ceremony, Eka Ruola, Chief Creative Officer and President of the Finnish advertising and marketing group Nitro Group, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, joining a select group of visionaries who have left an indelible mark on the creative industry.

Young Drummers

The winners of the global Young Drummers competition, organized by Golden Drum in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board, are Nicoletta Gulíšek and Matúš Kollárik from Istropolitana Ogilvy agency, with the poster series “Love-correct.”

The Young Drummers jury also gave special recognition to certain works, rewarding their exceptional quality and creativity: for the series “Real life wonders” by Faruq Alimi and Ajani Olamitayo from Noah’s Ark Communications, Nigeria, and for the poster series “It’s in our Sloveins.” by Tassy Fanni and Schafarek Boldizsár from Republic Group // DDB, Budapest.
