Billboards, social networks, and advertising blocks are dominated by Santas, snowflakes, special discounts … and one singing, wacky raindeer, drawiing attention to himself with his character, voice and enthusiasm, as gifts and articles pile around him! The new hero of the New Year’s campaign of Tehnomanija electronics retail chain was created in the spirit of holiday euphoria.
„In the holiday days we all get swept by the frenzy of giftgiving, and receiving. This was an inspiration for the name of the campaign and the hero who is crazy about gifts, and who could barely wait to show how many different items have been prepared, picked up and dispatched to Tehnomania stores across Serbia,“ explains Vladimir Radivojević, creative director of Communis DDB.
„We wanted a hero who wouldn’t depend on animation, post-production and budget in the execution, but would be a real puppet, who will be relatable through its character, behavior and closeness. Therein lies the beauty of his appearance and additional power of this idea. Already during the filming, you could see how much the crew grew to love him as a character,“ adds Marko Blagojević, Senior Art Director of the agency.
The Serbian market leader in retail of electric and electronic household appliances has started the holiday campaign with a singing TV spot in which Irvasily lists what Tehnomania offers, and will soon appear on the digital channels of Tehnomania and sales outlets throughout Serbia.
“Our goal is to strengthen our leadership position and present Tehnomania as a place where you can find presents for all the people dear to you – children, parents, grandparents… With a cute promoter like Irvasily, we are sure we will succeed,“ said Tehnoania’s marketing director Lovro Vučković.
