From June 18 to 20, Tivat will once again become a regional meeting point for technology, investment and new business models through the third edition of the Game Changer Montenegro festival, an event that year after year seeks to position Montenegro as a space for more serious discussions about the future of the economy and the digital transformation of the region.
Following its previous two editions, the festival is this year further expanding its focus from a classic tech conference into a platform that connects business, capital, innovation, creative industries and the development of digital society. Organizers are announcing a program that will open discussions on artificial intelligence, global investments, digital infrastructure, the development of cities and markets, as well as the ways technology is changing the economic and political dynamics of the world.
The festival will open on June 18 with the presentation of the Game Changer Awards, recognizing technological excellence among companies from Montenegro, while special regional awards will also be presented to companies from Serbia and North Macedonia. In this way, the festival continues to strengthen its regional character and position itself as a meeting point for the technology ecosystems of Southeast Europe.
The central conference program will be held on June 19 at the Regent Porto Montenegro hotel, where the focus will be on topics that are increasingly shaping the direction of market and business development today. Organizers are announcing discussions on the impact of AI on capital and investment, the role of digital infrastructure as a new strategic value, the transformation of industries, as well as the question of where new global economic centers of power are emerging.
The program will bring together international speakers from the fields of technology, business and science, while the names of participants will be revealed gradually over the coming weeks.
In addition to the conference segment, the festival is once again attempting to bring technology closer to the wider public through an open evening program and the Experience & Music zone, which will be available to all visitors in Tivat on June 19. Announced activities include VR activations, robotic installations, interactive content and presentations of video games developed in Montenegro.
The music segment of the program will be led by Who See and DJ Mono, further connecting technology, entertainment and contemporary internet culture, a model increasingly used by international technology events seeking to move beyond the framework of traditional conference formats.
The festival is being realized with the support of MTEL Montenegro, as well as the Tourist Organization of Tivat and the Municipality of Tivat.
More information about the program and speakers is available through the official Game Changer Montenegro festival platform.
