A formal ceremony of the Game Changer Montenegro Awards 2025 was held in the garden of the Regent Porto Montenegro hotel – an exclusive event that this year gathered over 250 guests from the world of technology, corporate governance, the startup scene, investment, media, and public administration.
In the festive atmosphere of Tivat – a city rapidly positioning itself as a regional hub for digital transformation – the evening celebrated the most prominent tech companies and individuals from Montenegro and the region, whose innovations, knowledge, and dedication are making a key contribution to the promotion and development of new technologies.
The evening opened with a speech by the Mayor of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, who emphasized the city’s strategic orientation toward supporting innovation and technological advancement.
“Tivat doesn’t see the future as a challenge, but as an opportunity. Tonight’s gathering shows that when a local community, the tech sector, and the creative industry come together – boundaries disappear. Tivat wants to, and has the capacity to, host ideas that can change the world,” said Komnenović.
Inspiring messages and words of support were also shared by the festival’s leading partners and prominent community representatives, who have long supported Montenegro’s technological progress.
An evening dedicated to changemakers
A highlight of the night was the address by Zoran Milovanović, CEO of m:tel Montenegro:
“Game Changer is not just a festival – it’s a movement bringing together the leaders of tomorrow. On behalf of the business community, Budimir Raičković, President of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, also spoke, highlighting the role of technology in shaping new economic models and management culture.
