Selecting the production format will be the first step when submitting work to the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards for 2027. The competition introduces a revised structure in which entrants first choose between the Film, Online Video and Doc & TV formats, after which the system displays the available thematic categories.
Entries are open to filmmakers, production companies, agencies, brands and client companies, television broadcasters, streaming services, film schools and students. The competition covers corporate films, online video productions, documentaries and television reports.
The new structure features 50 thematic categories, alongside 13 additional Production Arts & Craft categories, dedicated to individual aspects of production. These can be selected once a work has been entered in at least one thematic category.
Categories include Tech & Gaming, Retail, Public Service, Charity & NGO, Luxury and Health & Pharma, alongside areas such as B2B and B2C marketing communication, branded content and integrated communication. The choice of format also determines which jury will assess the work, so entrants need to distinguish, for example, between a corporate film published online and content originally developed for digital and social platforms.
Entrants can benefit from two periods with reduced fees. Entries submitted and paid for by December 16, 2026, receive a 20% discount, while the next deadline, February 17, 2027, offers a 10% discount. The final entry deadline is June 8, 2027.
Under the competition rules, works aired, released or published online after January 1, 2025, are eligible for submission. Works that have already participated in a previous edition cannot be entered again.
Submitted productions are assessed by an independent international jury comprising professionals from film, media, marketing and communications. The competition was founded in 2010 by Filmservice International, and the awards ceremony takes place in Cannes.
Details on categories, fees and participation conditions are available on the competition’s official website.
