After five successfully realized editions, Festival Kampanje sa svrhom continues its mission of recognizing, promoting and awarding communication projects that draw public attention to important social and environmental topics, open space for dialogue and encourage positive change.
The call for entries for the 2026 edition will be announced at the beginning of September, while the awards for the best campaigns will traditionally be presented on November 20, on International Children’s Day.
Launched in 2021 as the first and only festival of socially responsible communication in Serbia and the region, Festival Kampanje sa svrhom has grown over the past five years into a recognized professional platform and a kind of quality mark for campaigns with social impact. So far, the festival has presented and awarded projects by companies, institutions, civil society organizations, foundations and agencies that show that communication can have a much broader role than supporting the sale of products and services.
In its sixth edition, the festival has retained its showcase and encouraging character, with the aim of encouraging organizations to use communication to open important social topics. However, responsible communication today requires more than good intentions. The public expects transparency, credibility and messages that are backed by real results, responsible practices and authentic social impact.
That is why sustainability and social responsibility are no longer an addition to communication strategies, but an increasingly important part of them. Conversations with international experts in this field confirm what is becoming increasingly visible in the local market as well: responsible communication is becoming one of the key challenges of modern business.
This year as well, awards will be presented in the Social, Eco and Red categories, as well as for the Golden Grand Prix, the Festival’s highest award intended for the best campaign in the overall competition.
The Team of Honorary Selectors will once again bring together respected local experts, with the continued inclusion of international experts in the fields of communications, sustainability and social impact. The rules, participation requirements and composition of the Team of Honorary Selectors will be announced at the beginning of September, when the call for entries will also be opened.
“Throughout all six years of the Festival’s existence, we have tried to preserve its showcase and encouraging character, with the desire to encourage as many organizations as possible to use communication to address important social and environmental topics. It is important that what we claim is accurate, relevant and that we can support it with facts. In a time of greenwashing, greenhushing and growing public expectations, it is no longer enough to have a good story. The time when it was enough to tell a good story is slowly being left behind. Today, responsible communication is measured less and less by the strength of the message, and increasingly by the credibility, results and actions behind it,” said Tijana Adamov Ignjatović, founder of Festival Kampanje sa svrhom and the Žute Patalone initiative.
