Facebook seems to be shifting its focus from big advertisers to SMEs on its platform, as it launches a suite of new ad tools that will help small advertisers with video editing, optimizing campaigns and booking appointments.
This can be seen as Facebook’s latest step in boosting their ad revenue, as they make efforts to bring in and encourage more of those who don’t necessarily have great digital know-how to launch their ideas across Facebook’s platforms.
According to The Drum, the streamlined system grants account holders access to an automation feature within Ad Manager software which can generate campaigns from just six photos pulled from Facebook and Instagram, a budget limit and a few questions about the business.
Facebook has pledged it would train 1 million small business owners and individuals on digital skills by 2020.
