Did you know that people pay five times more attention to video content on Facebook and Instagram than to static content? The most popular are the so-called 360-degree video content.

The purchase path for many products and services is entering a new age. Mobile environment is bringing attention to a brand new way of communicating, as people watch video now throughout the day. As the use of mobile devices in the world grows, video has become the driving force behind research, consideration and making purchasing decisions.

Big ideas for small screens

In order to cut off an even bigger piece of the advertising cake, Facebook is focusing on development of their Facebook Watch video service, which will offer its users original video content, TV shows, sports events and similar content. Facebook says they don’t want to compete with Netflix or YouTube, but devote themselves to quite new additional features like Watch Party, which will allow Facebook friends to watch and comment on video content at the same time.

Strategy that puts video and mobile first

At SEMPL, you will find out why and how video content can be better optimized for mobile users, and what trends you need to take into account in order to make your strategies more effective. All this knowledge will be shared directly by Facebook, which is sending their representative Rustam Ziganshin, a sales partner for Central and Eastern Europe, Facebook Poland.

Ziganshin has spent more than ten years working in international media agencies, where he has progressed from the media planner to executive director. Then he decided to switch to the client side, and landed at Facebook. As an agency partner, he has accelerated collaboration with media holdings and direct clients in Central and Eastern Europe to achieve the highest value for them on Facebook and Instagram.
