The third RSVP, the only regional festival specialising in events will be held in Zagreb’s Plaza Event Centre on Wednesday and Thursday, the 21st and 22nd of February 2018.
During these two days the festival will bring a rich program and offer the participants an opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience trends that make event industry successful, creative and quantifiable. The third festival will offer lectures divided into four themes – sales, marketing, technology and realisation. The idea is to offer participants to choose between parallel lectures and make their own RSVP schedule; they will able to circulate from hall to hall cherry picking the best for them from each lecture. The sales theme, titled How to sell Ice to Eskimos will offer sales oriented lectures and workshops; the marketing theme is titled We know you want it, and the technological theme is titled So last year. The theme Be kind to rewind will offer practical examples and stories about event organising by the event organisers themselves. There will be over 60 speakers from Croatia, the region and the rest of Europe and the participants can expect to hear a lot of interesting examples and real life stories about the regional events.
Interested parties can offer their lectures online until the 14th of February, 2018 by following this link. The program selection board will evaluate all submitted lectures in the second half of January and the first half of February and allocate it to the appropriate festival theme.
This would be the second year in a row for the annual festival award ATTEND for the best regional event. ATTEND has 8 categories, and the jury is comprised of independent international and local event, marketing, design and PR experts and last year’s winner. A lot of interest was stirred by Expo zone at this year’s RSVP festival. The participants had an opportunity to see the most up to date technical equipment available to the event industry. So, next year’s Expo zone will have more even more exhibitors, with the best of audio, video and lighting equipment, technologies new to the region, catering trends and demonstrations. There will be very interesting and interactive demos (one of this year’s demos was a sound and light check using cutting edge equipment by the bands Vatra and Parni Valjak after the official program was finished.).
