Awesome summer awaits us in Bol, in Croatia! The sixth Graffiti na Gradele festival is preparing the strongest line-up so far, and now there is definitely no more doubt – Bol’s White House is a place not to be missed this year.
If three days of top summer fun, in the shade of pine trees, with the beach just below the location is not enough for you, the organizers of Graffiti na Gradele have made sure that a decision to come to Bol this year from 27 to 29 July would be your best decision this year.
The best boutique festival according to the Club Scene will for the first time host Edo Maajka, ambassador of hip hop, a man with three Porin awards and five studio albums in an enviable 25-year career! Along with Edo Maajka, the line up of the second rap day (29 July) will be reinforced with young forces as GNG announces arrival of Krešo Bengalka, Tone Tuoro & Marchello. The first day of performances (28 July), or the so-called trap day, was previously announced and coming to Bol are Kuku$i and Buntai, led by trap lords High 5.
If you thought that Graffiti na Gradele already surpassed itself, wait, there’s more. The program is complemented with a lineup of writers and street artists. The biggest regional names will gather their sprays and paints and will come to the White House and Factory, and GNG is also announcing the largest number of international guests so far. And it’s no wonder, because when the travel site Momondo includes you on the top ten list of the world’s best street art festivals in 2017, next to the festivals in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Montreal and Bristol – the leading global names in this field – it’s not a difficult task to achieve that.
From the distant island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean, somewhere between Mauritius and Madagascar, comes graffiti legend JACE, who has been painting since 1989. Coming to GNG from Spain is Sebas Velasco, a star known for his specific style of work. Together with him, from Spain, comes Iñigo Sesma, and from Panama the female power will be strengthened by Andi Soto.
The long list of artists of the region is headed by the local, yet global duo – Lonac, the author of a beating heart whose art on the building facades impressed the entire world, and there’s also a local veteran, father of the younger generation of graffiti and street art artists, Lunar, who will again leave his mark on the walls of the Factory. Best of the region comes in the form of Azram, Chez 186, Sarme, Artez, Junk, Nikola Mihajlović, Modul Osam, Bare (Pimp My Pump), Casino, Royal, Mane Mei, Hana, Artu Ditu, Anxio, Wuper Kec, Smack and Rina.
In the entire chaos of the best summer street art festival, you won’t have time to rest your pretty little feet, because throughout the day and all night, the DJ stand will host VRH (rain of bullets), Kuna, Niki Peducci, Nina Davis (Gang Gang), Oliver (Bassing), Oberön (Oberkuul & Frühstück), EMBO (Blaw: Blaw) Rofellos (Grime Croatia), Wvdup, Tikach, Gezin 808 Mafia and Radio Los Santos.
With such a festival lineup, it’s only natural to expect a record number of visitors, and Graffiti na Gradele experience is still completely free. Graffiti na Gradele festival is already drawn on the world map of the best street art festivals, and what they lack now is only the best crew, which every year gathers for the best summer fun, so be sure to be at Bol from 27 to 29 July.
