RTL Croatia and Star Digital Group jointly launch a research entitled State of Digital Marketing and Marketing Technologies in Croatia. Purpose of the study is to determine the state of digital marketing in Croatia and whether and how many domestic companies follow the latest marketing trends in the field of digitization.
With the increasing number of technological solutions used as marketing tools, marketers recognize that technology is becoming one of the most important components of the overall marketing strategy. With this, marketing doubtlessly climbs the very top of digital evolution. Some of the marketing functions are slowly dying out, and data and apps are being integrated to improve management of customer’s voyage and omni-marketing channels, and to leverage marketing automation capabilities. While new tech platforms allow for deeper insights into customer behavior and engagement, marketing often lacks connectivity across platforms to achieve a unique customer insight. More and more challenges lie in front of marketers, such as how to improve the value of a sporadic approach to investing in various marketing and digital tools and turning it into a serious investment of an integrated technology platform that will enable clearer profiling of users, stronger digital engagement across different communication channels, better analysis and processing data from various marketing functions – and all of that in one place.
This research is therefore a good opportunity to identify the way in which the Croatian marketing industry thinks, how much new technology is important to them in everyday work and where they currently stand in this regard.
The research results will be released within the Digital Shapers conference, which will be held on November 30 in Kaptol Boutique Cinema, organized by RTL Croatia. The conference has stirred great interest because there are numerous experts coming to Zagreb to present successful projects in the field of digital transformation through lectures and panels.
The conference will also name the Digital Shaper of the Year. This is an award for an individual who has most contributed to digitization and transformation of Croatia. RTL will run the Digital Shapers platform throughout the year – to track progress and stories of digital shapers, promote their projects, monitor good practices from other countries, and plan is to develop a digital transformation index.
