diamond:dogs, part of Emakina Group, opens office in Zagreb

Following the integration of diamond:dogs into the Emakina Group in September 2015, the strategic expansion of the group into Central Europe continues with the newly opened office in Zagreb, Croatia

Fifteen staff members of the recently founded Emakina.HR, together with experienced digital expert Petar Kozjak, will support the diamond:dogs locations in Vienna, Salzburg and Zurich, especially with their competence in Kentico development.

“Our medium-term goal is to expand the Zagreb location into a strong regional player, able to effectively support our growth in Central Europe,” said Gerhard Handler, CEO of diamond:dogs, part of Emakina Group.

“With Petar Kozjak we have succeeded in securing the services of a manager with many years of technological and international experience. He is in a position to perfectly implement our strategy in the field of digital transformation,” said Karim Chouikri, one of Emakina Group’s CEOs, adding “we are very happy about the new member of the Emakina family.”

“The know-how supplied by our new Croatian agency partner will contribute essentially to our goal to be a one-stop-shop for the entire digital value chain in Europe,” said Brice Le Blévennec, Emakina Group’s CEO.

As co-founder and senior manager of Endora, Petar Kozjak has been successfully working in Croatia since 2007, especially in international web projects. During the last few years he has created complex digital solutions for a great number of global brands. He built a highly specialised team of developers in the field of Kentico CMS which now forms the basis of Emakina.HR.

In the new company, Petar Kozjak holds a 24.8% share, and will hold a CEO position along with Gerhard Handler and Christian Handler.

Gerhard Handler states that the Zagreb office will be the first step in diamond:dogs’ and Emakina Group’s planned expansion in Central Europe. Number of services and offices of the diamond:dogs agency in Central Europe is set to increase during the next year.

The agency diamond:dogs was founded in 1999 in Vienna and currently employs over 100 experts in internationally connected group of companies in Austria, Switzerland and Croatia. Since November 2015, the agency is fully integrated into the Emakina Group and with offices in Vienna, Salzburg, Zurich and Zagreb covers the entire Central Europe and German speaking countries.
