Book Nada (Hope) – a monograph created by the agency Bruketa & Žinić OM on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Adris Foundation – was declared the best project of print communication at the Design Week Awards London on Tuesday. Design Week is a publication with a 30-year tradition of publishing, and for 26 years now they are organizing a competition for the world’s best design solutions, with only one winning project in each of the 21 categories.
Among the finalists were the brands of the likes of Apple, Budweiser, Duracell, The New York Times, the Premier League and English National Opera, while among the winners were Airbnb, Chivas, Nike, Maritime Museum in Amsterdam and others. Hope was also recently awarded at the D&AD international competition.
Pages of the monograph feature all the projects and individuals that Adris Foundation supported over the last ten years of its operation. Presented like this in one place, they offer hope that Croatia has a future.
It is this fact that inspired the creative concept, and the main morphological motif of this book titled Nada (Hope), because the book is sensitive to the touch and the more you use it, the more pronounced the motive of hope on the cover becomes, literally and symbolically. The monograph also brings original illustrations of 24 featured projects, illustrated by the best Croatian illustrators of the younger generation. More about the project can be found here.
