Participants at Days of Communication, Croatia’s central advertising festival which takes place 14 to 17 April 2016 in Hotel Lone Rovinj, will again this year be treated to a rich accompanying and entertainment program that includes great concerts, exhibitions, informal networking and discussion panels. This year’s Days of Communication will have two informal networking panels, the well-known Beer after the Program or the PPP. On Friday, 15 April, after the official part of the program, participants will discuss over beer relations between freelancers and agencies. The hosts are Karla Andrić and Matija Raos from the Croatian Society of Independent Professionals, and their guests will be Manuela Šola from the Komunikacijski Laboratorij (Communication Laboratory) and Daniel Ackermann from the agency Degordian. On the side of the freelancers there will be motion designer Timy Šarec, illustrator Vedran Klemens and producer Lara Stolnik. The second PPP will be held on Saturday, 16 April, on the subject of TV advertising in Croatia. What’s coming and what are the trends of advertising on TV will be discussed by Marinka Akrap from Podravka, Damir Ciglar from the agency Imago, Ivan Gale from RTL, Lordan Kondić from VIPnet and Davor Runje from the agency Drap. The host of the second PPP is the director of the festival program Anđela Bunjan Šiber from the agency iZone.
In the entertainment part of the program, Friday plans include a funktastic party with surprise guests, and for the final night of Days of Communication the band Lollobrigida promises a nuclear party, this time with extra reinforcement – an accordion and a saxophone. For the last decade the Lollobrigida band has been raising the roof at parties, clubs and festivals around the region. A strong performance, catchy choruses and a disco beat will drive participants to all-night dancing. Ida Prester, already the sixth-time host of Days of Communication, will present herself in an even crazier incarnation through the Lollobrigida performance.
All those hungry for cultural events will have the opportunity to see the works of young, under-30 artists as part of the Fragmentology project – a cycle of exhibitions that began last year as part of Urbanka, a platform of urban culture launched by Erste Bank with the aim of promoting and strengthening the connections of (urban) culture with the target audience. Visitors will be able to see works by Lovro Artuković, Zlatan Vehabović, Juraj Dobrović, Ivan Fijolić and other well-known artists from the impressive collection of Lauba, titled the Best of Lauba.
All those who haven’t yet reserved their place at the Days of Communication, it is now high time to register. Visit www.danikomunikacija.com and treat yourself to an unforgettable time in Rovinj.
