Davor Bruketa, founder and Creative Director of Bruketa&, and Kirill Karnovich-Valua, founder and Creative Director of Ljubljana-based Digital da Vincis, are among the members of this year’s Cresta Awards Grand Jury. This makes them the regional representatives on the international jury evaluating work in advertising, design and digital communications.
Unlike competitions where decisions are made through joint jury discussions, Cresta Awards retains an individual judging model. Each member of the Grand Jury evaluates the work independently and online, without group deliberation, while the final result is determined based on the average of all scores awarded. Some jury members take part over multiple years, through which the organizers aim to maintain continuity in the judging criteria.
This year, Bruketa and Karnovich-Valua are judging the work alongside creative and marketing professionals from leading global agencies and brands. They include Diego Machado, Global Chief Creative Officer at AKQA, Eva Neveau, Global Chief Creative Officer at Omnicom Productions, Viktor Jacobsson, Global Creative Director at Uber, Andrea Quaye, Marketing Director at Heineken, James Hurst, Global Executive Creative Director at HelloFresh, and Eric Schoeffler, CCO Germany at Saatchi & Saatchi.
This year’s edition also reflects changes in the types of work gaining increasing prominence in the creative industry. Following the rapid development of projects based on artificial intelligence, Cresta Awards 2026 is expanding its Creative Use of AI category. At the same time, a new Finance category has been introduced, dedicated to creative work in the field of financial communications.
Cresta Awards has been presented since 1993, with entries coming from more than 70 countries. The range of submitted projects includes traditional advertising and design, as well as digital formats and work using new technologies.
The winners of Cresta Awards 2026 will be announced on September 22.
