Citroën has launched a new episode of its brand campaign created by BETC Traction, which celebrates 100 years of existence of Citroen. The film will roll on social media in full length, while shorter versions will be featured on TV channels through MediaCom.
The new spot repeats four never published sequences with the Globe-Trotter and represents a true ode to freedom, showing Citroën’s story that begun in 1919. The tagline of the ad says: “We have shared the same love of freedom for 100 years.”
Sequential imagery is supported by the powerful sounds of Roger Hodgson, co-founder of SUPERTRAMP, singing ‘Take a long way home’. The spot also features Jacques Séguéla, famous creator of Citroën ads from the 80s (Chevron and wild horses, AX on the Great Wall of China, Visa GTi on the Clémenceau aircraft carrier, etc.)
